Gifted by God

Exodus 35:21-35; Ephesians 4:4-16

The children of Israel brought a freewill offering to the LORD, all the men and women whose hearts were willing to bring material for all kinds of work which the LORD, by the hand of Moses, had commanded to be done. (Exodus 35:29)

He has filled them with skill to do all manner of work of the engraver and the designer and the tapestry maker, in blue, purple, and scarlet thread,
and fine linen, and of the weaver--those who do every work and those who design artistic works.” (Exodus 35:35)

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:7, 11, 12)

“…for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13)

Gifted by God. What a privilege to be a channel in the hand of the best of Masters, and to be “…workers together,” for the kingdom of Heaven! (2 Corinthians 6:1) Jesus said, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it!” (Matthew 16:18)

“Thank You Oh My Father,
For Giving Us Your Son,
And Leaving Your Spirit,
‘Til The Work On Earth Is Done.”
