Compromise or conviction?
I love how Daniel continued to pray to the One true God, three times a day, even when he knew the king had signed a decree for 30 days, that no one should pray to any other god or man except to himself. (Daniel 6:1-10) I mean he was committed. No turning back, no turning back! He knew that it was far better to obey God rather than man. (Daniel 3:16-18; Acts 5:29) What about us? Me? Will we compromise? Will we dare to slack off, sit back, take it easy, give up, or give in? If we do, it will surely lead to shipwreck.
